New Pictures - Page 35

Below are some pictures sent us by Laura Rudkin Miniot.. She told us that "My uncle, B. Warren Rudkin, trained as a Marine Raider, but did not see action as a Raider.  He was in F Co. of the 2/4.  He was wounded on Guam and killed on Okinawa.  In the summer of 2002, I found a box filled with his letters home, photos, and other materials."

My uncle had written names on the backs of the photos as follows.

Welch, Williamson, Zobenica, Bergenske, Rudkin, Chapman, Salleng,.  Second Row, Glynn, Kingsley, Wroblewski, Smith, Almond, Simpson.  Third row, Shultz, Mosley, Nash, Jenkins, Curtis, Maupin.  Fourth row, Faltynski, McHollis, Cole, MacDermott, ??rson (name smudged), Wolbert, Bontadelli, Johnson, Amo, Hanford.  Dunbar sitting in front.  The dog is "Bansi".  September '44
